An initiative to preserve vacant structures of a lot in Larimer, Pittsburgh. The idea was to transform this space into a garden and learning center along with a local market. Post-tension cables wrap around the main structure to support the raised garden.
Designed an aerodynamic planter bed with ease of access and transportation. Pittsburgh has multiple sites like this one in East Liberty where the community is looking to add nature in their lifestyles. Partnered with Anthony Orosz, Catherine Zanardi, Francis Yang, Marina McIntosh, and Zach Geller.
Utilizing paper, dowels, and wire, complex paths were created to impact the movement of a marble. Structure is transparent because of how essential it is to the form I decided to pursue.
